Care (BPOC) systems can operated accurately and efficiently.
PharmoPack can interface easily to all popular Pharmacy Information Systems (PhIS), Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADC), and Supplier Wholesale systems easily using our unique MedRexStat Interface Engine. ADC and PhIS orders are received electronically into PharmoPack and all orders can be "smart sorted" to package and label medications on demand by delivery area – patient, ADC, or Department specific. For replenishment of medications into PharmoPack, bulk medication bottles are used. The technician scans the bulk bottle barcode to match with the canister barcode to ensure accuracy when refilling. Every canister is calibrated for a specific medication and can drop only one medication at a time due to the unique canister design. Additional canisters can be ordered if permanent formulary changes are made.
If a temporary formulary change is required due to a wholesale supplier substitution of a medication that isn't the normal contract product, the Free Shape Packaging system can be used to package any sized item without calibration – even 1/2 (half) tablets!
